Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
Returning a used car and getting the one i traded in back that was paid for
I recentely signed papers to buy a car. My car was paid for and he wanted an additional 5700 to be financed. I told him i had a job but it required me to pass a test to work there. In the mean time a family crisis occured and i could not see about my job and now i have no money to make the payments. I have had the car about 2 weeks and i went to the dealer and told him i needed to get my car back because i could not pay for the other one at this time. He said that was too bad i had already signed the papers. Keep in mind i haven't surrendered the title. Do i have a chance of getting my car back?

Very unlikely; merely not having sufficient income or funds to pay for the new car for which apparently you legally contracted would not be a basis to void this contract and have your old vehicle returned to you.
