Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
Selling a dealer purchased car
Is it usually a problem to sell a newly purchased car that I bought from a dealership? I looked at the bill of sale and it says something about not selling the car for 6 months, but it appears that I would only be liable for any additional charges from the manufacturer (rebates not going through etc). Are you familiar with this? Should I be concerned about selling the vehicle if I am not making a profit (sales price = loan payoff amount)

Re: Selling a dealer purchased car
More questions come to mind than answers on this one.... are you a dealer? Did you get special purchasing privileges? Some special arrangment with manufacturer? Ordinarily, the restrictions you are describing are not ones regular consumers have to contend with.
