Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
I signed a contract in my home yesterday to have my floors refinished. I now find that the way they work will not give me access to a outside door or bathroom. They want to do all the floors at the same time. Do I have 3 days to cancel? My husband is handicapped and diabetic and must have a clear way out of the house if necessary. They could do the work partway so we can manage this but they do not want to.,

If you were solicited for this contract either over the telephone or by a representative's personal visit to your home, you should have
72 hours to cancel it pursuant to the Virginia Homes Sales
Solicitation Act.
