Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
software developer Valve violating consumers rights
What recourse does a consumer have when they purchase a video game that will not install unless you install a separate program which requires internet connection, that in not advertised on the product. This sounds like a huge class action suit waiting to happen. Half-life 2 is the game in question, how can consumers stop these corporate tactics, this is so unfair, frustrating and disappointing.

Why not begin with your complaint to the retailer with a demand for the return of your purchase price?
