Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
I sold my car to carmax in February and now I'm told I owe almost a $1000 because the amount they gave me minus what the lien holder was paid was incorrect. They have sent me a letter from their collections department and the amount are incorrect on the letter itself. I need an attorney to review my documents and also to see if I have a case because of the amount of time that has passed. Carmax was the one who got the payoff balance from the lien holder.
