Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
A sprinkler company got a judgment against me in general district court. He acted as his own lawyer although he is an LLC. In the case before mines the judge told the another LLC that they had to have a lawyer represent them. Is it true that a LLC must have a lawyer represent them in Court? I can't find an answer anywhere. I want to appeal the decision.

There may not be any significant caselaw decisions on this issue. So,
the question remains as to why you didn't raise the issue at the start of your case in the GDC if the judge had ruled in the previous case that the LLC was required to be represented by an attorney?
You could appeal the decision, however, citing the ruling of the GDC judge as a basis for your appeal.
