Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
Can I sue a consumer for selling a minor Rated R video tapes.
I want to start a law suit against a consumer who sold my sixteen year old daughter rated ''R' video's tapes exposing her to sexual connotations. Can this be done? Do I have a case.

Re: Can I sue a consumer for selling a minor Rated R video tapes.
Your question requires further clarification. Who is this "consumer" and in what Virginia community do you reside?
Even if the community were one where the standards for pornographic material were very
conservative, it's doubtful that the sale of
"R" video tapes by a private party("consumer")to
a sixteen year old would confer upon the parent a civil cause of action to sue the seller.
