Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
Can my Verizon Wireless contract be terminated without their fees?
For the past few months, Verizon Wireless has slapped fraudalent charges on my account. last month, i dished out double the amount of my plan only because of these charges. this last bill is only a little over, but that is because i barely use my phone during peak time to offset these fraudalent charges. i'd surely know if i called or answered as many 'unavailable' calls as are on my bill, i have one for 56 minutes!! this fraud issue has also coincided with an inability to retreive voice mails. there is a 9 digit number blocking my attempt. very suspiciously, this number was cleared when i attempted to show it to a verizon rep. they suggest changing numbers which i suspect will not work, plus costing me additional fees. Is there any grounds for breech and cancellation of this contract? It seems to me VW is at or on the brink of a class action lawsuit.
Any lawyers out there who could submit a letter of threat of lawsuit to VW and would like my over fees in turn for possible cancellation of contract without termination fees?
Replies much appreciated!

Re: Can my Verizon Wireless contract be terminated without their fees?
Whether the situation which you've described would in fact constitute a breach on the part
of Verizon would undoubtedly require a careful reading by an attorney of your particular service contract with this particular company before any such determination could reliably be made.
