Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
in Virginia, if a used car was misrepresented upon purchase. dealership said it got 38 MPG but in reality it gets 21 MPG does that qualify under the virginia lemon law or what laws constitute mis representation of a car?

That is a significant difference and quite possibly actionable. You should see an attorney about it. Not likely a lemon law case, but more likely a Virginia Consumer Protection Act, constructive fraud and/or breach of warranty claim. Good luck.

FYI, Virginia lemon law applies only to new cars.
