Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

I have 2 judgements for non payment on business credit. Both judgements come to around 15,000 each. Last year my husband became disabled and my son has been disabled since birth. Hospitals bills are piling up and I can see no end. Not to mention tha I have a mortgage that is out of this world. I am writing a letter to my creditors lawyers explaining to them what I can do. I can only send 200.00 a month on each judgement. My question to you is can they take my home?

No, your creditors cannot "take your home" if you hold title to it with your husband as TENANTS BY THE ENTIRETIES and he is not named in the judgments against you as a judgment debtor.

Nevertheless, considering the sum total of your accumulated and current financial obligations, bankruptcy may prove to be the only realistic option for you.
