Absintee Landlord VS Management Company

I employed a Management Company to oversee a duplex of mine in Virginia. They have not honored the contract as far as screenining renters and had to evict one after 2 months. The are taking onther to court for non payment but will lose this one. The renters have proof of payment. Can I sue them for management fees as well as lost income?

Yes, you can sue for breach of contract. That doesn't mean you'll win, and I can't tell from the facts stated whether you actually have a good claim or not. The question you'll have to deal with is whether they'll offer evidence that they did the screening and rented to people who looked good initially but turned out to be deadbeats, or whether they failed to check. Think about what kind of documentary evidence could be used to satisfy your contractual term and demand that they produce it (in the presence of a witness). If they can't or won't, I'd say you have a claim. You're going to need a lawyer.
