Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

Bank of America

Bank of America destroyed our credit over a $99 dollar charge.We moved in Jan and we updated or address with them. They failed to send us statement,late notice, or anything before they sent us to collections. Had card since 2000 and never had a problem. This led to 150 point credit loss and were not able to purchase home. Do we have a case?
