Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia
Bills in particular
I went to court on a debt that I owe. But the amount they are suing for is incorrect. The judge continued the case and said that a "Bills in Particular" had to be files by a certain date. Is that a detailed bill? And who has to file this? The plaintiff or myself? Any other advice that might help me would be appreciated.

Re: Bills in particular
The Plaintiff has to file a "Bill of Particulars", which is a detailed statement of the claim. You probably have a deadline set to file a written Answer. All this does is tell you what the claim really is, since a warrant in debt is generally pretty vague.
