Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

I booked a child's birthday party at a laser tag place, but had to cancel 6 days prior to the party as my son was sick with meningitis. Place still charged my credit card in full for entire party (including pizzas not ordered); they said I can rebook at a later time but will not remove charge from my credit card. Any legal grounds to fight this charge?

Would seem to depend upon the terms of your agreement

with this company for the party (whether it was oral or written).
