Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia
My ex boyfriend left a motorcycle that we once coowned at a dealership where it was seized. Upon inspection it was discovered to have a stolen engine. Once resolved, a phone call was made to him letting him know I can go pick it up. This was transmitted through vm. Upon his failed response an attempt to notify me via mail at our residence in Virginia Beach while I was attending school in Gulfport, MS. He did not let me know this. Since the bike was not claimed it was auctioned and sold for $7500 but I am left paying the loan. I can not afford to pay $326.11 for a vehicle I do not own. I was wondering if I can sue my ex for the pay off amount at the time of the tow.

Sure, you could sue him for his share of the
the final bill once you've completely paid it off.
