Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia
Our business recently had a judgement put against a customer. Now we are wondering if we have to file another suit with the court to garnish their wages or can we show the judgement to his employer and have the employer garnish his wages?

No, you need to do this the proper way, with garnishment forms available on the Virginia Courts website or at your local Court. See an attorney to help you.

Go to clerk's office to request the issuance of a Summons in Garnishment
against your judgment debtor.
