Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

Camper was repossed

My payment on my camper was made in November however it did not reach the bank. I was a little late on my December payment and they repo'ed the camper. I never got a letter from Bank of America stating this would be done. What can I do about this to keep from totally ruining my credit? They also moved our truck from the driveway to get the camper thru the gate from the front yard. Can they do this?

Re: Camper was repossed

You should contact the lender immediately to attempt to negotiate a settlement satisfactory to both sides that would hopefully allow you to retrieve your camper.

And, yes, the "repo man" can use all measures that are resaonable and necessary to take possession of the

repossessed vehicle.
