Car Repossed

My son went to court and a garnishment was put against his wages. After 7 months of his paycheck being garnish, the man who sold the car had it towed back to him with no notice or summons from the court. What can he do to get the car back

If the car in fact now belongs to your son, he could file in the local general district court what's called a warrant in detinue for the return of his property or, in the alternative, a request for a judgment for its fair market value.
