Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

I have an old cash advance with CheckSmart in VA. I borrowed $1000 on a high interest loan and repaid $300 to date; I have missed many months due to no money or either just plain forgetting to pay them. I haven't received any phone calls nor mail from them regarding missed payments, etc.

Today I get a call from National Attorneys; 877-202-5736 saying I had til tomorrow to pay $900 to settle or they were subpoenaing(?) me to court for over $3700...

I am most willing to pay this as I know I owe it but is this legal...National Attorneys? Can't find anything much about them online..I would like to make pymt arrangements absolutely but cannot pay that much at once...what should I do? Thank you

Let them "subpoena" you to court, and when (and if) you're actually served with valid papers to appear, then arrange to consult with an attorney who handles consumer affairs issues and who should be able to further advise you as to

how best to proceed with this particular matter.
