child support and mortgage lein

I have owned a home for the past 16 years i recently married a man who owes back child support i recently found out that the child support service people put a lein on my home for his child support he is not on my mortgage of land/home title so i am wondering if this is legal????

You should contact the DCSE (Division of Child Support Enforcement)folks and explain the situation and demand that the lien be removed.
