Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

Was to close on a home 3/18/11 the mortgage company said they needed more time to process loan, they said it can take up to two weeks. my lease is about to expire in my present apartment, do I have any legal rights?

See if the lender will pick up whatever extra housing costs that you may incur

due to their delay in processing the loan for closing on the home.
