Collecting Judgments from Corporations
Hello, I am a High School Student who is doing research for an internship in a lawyer's office. We have had growing difficulty in collecting valid judgments from large corporations because they are not willingly paying the money they owe as a result of a judgment made in a civil suit. I have found a lot of information about how you can collect a judgment from an individual or a sole proprietorship, but it seems to more complicated to collect a judgment from a corporation. If you know of any ways you can collect a valid judgment from a corporation, or create incentives to get them to pay you, it would be of great help. Thank you very much.

Sure - just send the sheriff. Have a fi. fa. issued and levy on their assets. Apart from wage garnishments, collecting from a corporation is the same as against individuals, except that they have no right to claim exemptions.
