Collection Agencies calling for Ex husband

I have been divorced from my ex-husband for 14 years who now resides in MA. My new husband & I purchased a home in Va in May of 2008. We have been getting calls from collection agencies for my ex-husband (4 calls so far) . We have explained that I am divorced from him, they want his info address, phone #. Shouldn't they have this info? What can we do to stop them from calling us?

Were you put on the hook for the bills in the divorce? What kind of bills are they?

Make sure you fully document and diary all calls, with names, dates, phone numbers, and what was said, etc.

You should consult a good consumer law attorney, as you may have some claims of your own.
