Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

Collections

My question is, can there be any court activity based on the below info? I got some braces put on & agreed to pay them 100.00 a month. The braces are off, he did a crapy job, the permanent retainer has since then moved as well as my top teeth. I think he took them off too early, he says no. I asked for them to fix it at no charge, he says no; I didn't pay. Now he has hired an attorney who is charging me the remainder price plus attorney fees and interest. What can I do? already wrote a letter of dispute, now dentist wants to make good, now I don't trust him. Attorney still wants, interest, attorney fees & remainder balance

Re: Collections

Unless the dentist's "wanting to make good" includes fixing the bothched braces job and calling off the attorney and his fees and the remainder of the balance due with interest, you should prepare for the prospect of having to defend yourself against this claim in court.
