Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia
I co-signed for a car for my ex-husband. He is living in TX and I have no address for him. I just found out that he has not made a payment in on year. He is driving around in the car and I have no clue where he is. They are trying to come after me for the car. I am not employed at this time. What would will happen to me; other than it being on my credit.

As a co-signer of the note on the car, you could possibly be sued for the balance still owed on the vehicle and a judgment entered against you for that amount.
