Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

if a court order for a garnishment/lien on a bank account was placed, is it still legal if they are taking my unemployment checks that are getting sent direct deposit every week?

Unemployment compensation in Virginia (as far as I am aware) is not

(or should not be) subject to creditor attachment or garnishment.
