Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

I have a credit card bill that started at 6000 and it's been 2 years and i already paid 5000 and they still saying i owe 6000 because they said it's 24.9 interest from o8...whatever that's ridiculous what can i do

Not much, probably, other than trying to negotiate a settlement amount that you'll

have some chance of paying off before the not too distant future becomes the

present.
