can my debt from medical bills affect my fiance once we are married?

Your fiance who later becomes your wife cannot be held liable for your medical bills incurred prior to the marriage. However, the longer the marriage endures, the more likely it becomes that you and she will apply for joint credit ventures which could be affected by your adverse credit history.
