Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

What should I do now

Hello! I filed a motion to vacate a judgement based on the fact I was never properly served and that previous arrangment were made on the account prior to the court date ( in writing). The judge reopen the original case and ask me to write and grounds of defense statement. Would I used the same grounds for defense for the original court date that the plaintiff as suing me for?
