How do I go about removing my husband's name from financial obligations / debt caused--name removed--me solely that is now affecting his personal credit.

You may wish to arrange for a consultation with an attorney who handles consumer affairs matters for further advice on this issue, but the likely reality is that you probably have little or no power to have your husband removed from responsibility for these items if the debts were jointly incurred during the course of your marriage to him.
