The firm I work for filed a complaint and received judgment on a claim for an amount just over $1 million. It's in Arlington, VA. How do I go about collecting on the judgment? What are the next steps? Interrogatories?

It depends on the assets of the judgment debtor. If you don't know what assets there are, debtor interrogatories is a way to start.
