Harrasing creditor calls
I am 30 days delinquent on an account. They have called me at work over 30 times in 2 days, cussed me, my family and my co-workers, and ignored my, my boss, my HR manager, and my rececptioniest when I advise them not to call me at work. It is not as though I am avoiding them, I have called them and told them I would not have the money until next month. Additonally, when he calls me at work, he will identify himself as my husband in order to get through. Isnt there anything I can do?

Re: Harrasing creditor calls
Tell them orally and in writing that you've consulted with an attorney and been informed that each such harassing phone call to your employer may be considered a violation of the FDCPA(Fair Debt Collection Practices Act), and individually suable for damages, and that you've begun keeping careful record of all such calls in violation
of your rights under this particular federal statute designed to curtail the predatory collection practices of companies like YOURS.
