hiding the auto

can the reposession company use the police to take the vehicle or are warrents issued and court dates set?

Warrants are not necessary nor other court process for a lender to repossess a vehicle which it already legally owns.

Lenders repossessing vehicles do not use the cops to accomplish this task, but rather rely upon so-called "repo men", a cadre of hearty souls (which also includes some ladies) who work independently of the lender or police and stand ready to risk life and limb, so to speak, in carrying out this unfortunate but quite necessary recovery process when buyers default upon their vehicle loans.
