Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

judgements

My husband promised someone 50000 before we were married for a business arrangement and signed a promissory note. Now that we are married the person has come after him and was granted a judgement by default. Can they go after me and my property if the property is only in my name? If so what can I do?
