lein
if there is a lein against a piece of timberland, can the timber be harvested regardless of the lein? or is the timber considered having a lein against it also?

Unless the encumbrance (the lien)specifically attaches also to the timber, it is likely that the timber could be harvested unimpeded by the lien.
