How long does a charge off stay on credit report?

Even if been sold to another lender?

You might ask Experian, Transunion and Equifax. Some stay on there for ages. Keep a copy to use against any company or assignee that tries to collect later and make them prove the debt and the case, legal standing, statute of limitations, etc. Good luck.
