i owe a little over 130.00 dollars on a car the loan was past due i paid off the loan the loaners said that i own a repo fee of 75.00 dollars but when they came to get the car the car was not available i paid off the loan to the satisfaction of the loan holders can they charge me the 75.00 for a repo that they did not get. He also said that he would hold the tiltle until i pay the 75.00 dollars.

Very likely the loan company had to pay the repoman a fee for his efforts even if he did not succeed in getting the car.

Better pay them the $75.00 in order to get your title and be done with it.
