Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

I just paid a judgement off in full, how long do they have before they have to report to the courts and CRAs that it have been satisfied and is there anyway i can have it removed since its been paid in full in Virginia ?

Yes, you yourself should now request that your judgment creditor file a release with the court showing that the judgment has now been satisfied. However, beyond filing this release with the court, this creditor has no obligation to do anything further in your behalf regarding this judgment. (It will be up to you

to send a certified copy of its release to the CRAs and to whomever else

that may have an interest in the matter,)
