Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia
In the past 6 months I have allowed a friend to borrow money for his pet's bills and his livelihood. However, he has failed to pay back any amount to this day. I requested repayment and he told me I am not to contact him or he will say I am harassing him. I have sent out a demand letter, however, no response either. I have receipt copies of all items and money he has accepted. The break down is all followed: Amir Handouks Debt 07/21/2015 PAPA JOHN'S #03341.COM 540-869-7272 VA 3936 -$42.38 07/31/2015 WESTERN UNION DENVER CO 3936 -$325.00 Vet Bill Sultan Check Up 07/31/2015 WESTERN UNION DENVER CO 3936 -$54.99 Food for Sultan 06/20/2015 DOMINO'S 4393 202-468-0708 VA 3936 -$63.98 07/02/2015 WESTERN UNION DENVER CO 3936 -$200.00 Sultan Lyme Disease 06/17/2015 PAPA JOHN'S #03341.COM 540-869-7272 VA 3936 -$28.15 06/06/2015 LOWES #00397* 703-361-9101 NC 3936 -$277.63 Fence for Sultan 8/28/2015 DOMINO'S 4393 202-468-0708 VA 7316 -$45.18 05/26/2015 AMAZON MKTPLACE PM AMZN.COM B 7316 -$339.95 Tool to Build Fence Total $1377.26. 1 Answer from Attorneys
You can sue this defaulting SOB in your local small claims court for whatever he owes
you up to $5000-- and you can do it all without the services of an attorney who are
not allowed to represent clients in this particular branch of the general district court.
