I purchased a long-term health insurance policy to cover nursing home/care expenses. Can the long-term health benefit payments from the insurance company be garnished in Virginia?

Yes, I believe they can be as I see no exemption from creditor process, i.e., garnishment of such benefits enumerated under Va. Code Sec. 34-26.
