Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

My question is i have telemarketers calling me saying that they have a criminal law suit against me for a payday loan.they say that the the sherriff will be servung me papers and that i will be arrested and will have to go to jail for three months.i dont have a job i dont have any income. they say they have already started the process.can they do that? if so what can i do?

Sure, of course, these scaremongers can make their bogus claims,

but you can tell them to "TAKE A HIKE!--and without worry as to any

serious repercussions as to what these lowlifes may be threatening

in terms of a criminal prosecution of what can be no more

than a civil matter (if that).
