Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

I received a warrant in debt summons with a hearing date and time listed. I was unable to attend and the case is listed as dismissed on the state's court case website. Can the creditor take me to court again for the same debt?

It depends on the terms of the dismissal. The answer is probably yes. You are very lucky that the plaintiff either didn't show up as well, had a defect in service, or simply chose to dismiss, as the usual result of a defendant not showing up either in person or with a lawyer is a judgment against the defendant for the amount sued for.
