repossed car

my car was repossed four years ago i couldn't make the monthly payments they set up .they have been garneshing my wages for about three years. they are taking out over 600.00 a month more when i get overtime.i wanted them to take out of my wife's she makes less they would not do that i told them i was quitting my job they informed me they would see to it i would not get another one i have tried at different places nobody has gotten in touch with me .most of my money is going in intrest. we can hardly make on what we make.

What is your question? You might try calling a reputable credit counseling company.

It would have been a good idea to consult a good consumer law attorney at the time it was repossesssed 4 years ago.

If they threatened you with affecting your ability to get another job, that is a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. You may want to consider suing them for that. You may also want to consider filing for bankruptcy if the debt is more than you can handle. Feel free to contact me about these issues.
