salary garnishment

I have been awarded judgement against my niece who lives in Va and I live in Md. for over $5000. I have requested the triple sealed judgement to take to Va. I know that garnishments have to be renewed in va. anything other info I need to know, can I take the judgeent to a district court, fill out the garnishment forms and file them?

In Va, if you want just to docket the judgment rather than suing on it, you have to do it in Circuit Court. You may want to retain counsel to handle this.
