Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

Scheduled Hearing

A debt collection atty in VA is attempting to freeze my bank acct in TX. After a few days, my credit union released the hold stating that the VA courts has no jurisdiction in TX.

My question is: We have a hearing in VA. Do I have to appear, since my credit union released the acct?
