Show Cause for Contempt
My former company moved my family and I in 2003 and I was to pay a prorated amount of $2600 if I left the company early. I left and didn't pay. Now I have a judgement against me and I was just served a Show Cause for contempt of Court in MD which says I can be arrested if I fail to appear. What should I do??

The contempt is not for failing to pay. It's for failing to appear for post-judgment proceedings (probably an oral examination). You need to either work this out with the Plaintiff (i.e., pay it, or settle it), or get a MD lawyer.
