Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia
I signed a mortgage for my primary residence. My spouse was in Iraq (non-military) but I used a general Power of Attorney to execute the loan. I am the only person on the deed of the home. Is this mortgage legal?

Yes, the general POA presumably included your right to execute the purchase/sale and loan documents for the property in behalf of your spouse.
