Small Claims
What is the deadline for filing a small claim in this state? The claim is against a legal firm which cashed a payment check and never credited the money to my account. They ultimately filed a lien for more than I owed. I appreciated the last advice. Thank you.

Depends upon what the claim is all about. If it involves the breach of a contract, the time limits would be three years from the date of the breach if it were an oral contract and five years from that date if it were written.
