Spouse responsiblity

if you are making regular payments on a hospital bill, can it be turned over for collection?And can they send your spouse a bill and put it on his/her credit report as dilquent?

1. Yes. The bill is due and payable when the services are rendered; partial payments do not satisfy the obligation.

2. A spouse is liable for necessary medical care for his/her spouse.
