out of state judgement

I am being sued in the Superior Court of New Jersey due to a guarantee of a defaulted equipment lease totaling $26,000 . If and when a judgement is entered against me in New Jersey, is it enforceable in Virginia? What can I expect in the form of collection activity?

Re: out of state judgement

Once the judgment is properly entered in New Jersey, the judgment creditor may then undertake to have it certified to the appropriate court in Virginia to be adopted and entered as one of its own(judgments).

The enforcement of the judgment in Virginia could then proceed via the usual remedies.
